It is finally here! My favorite season for activities and decor! There is just so much to do in the Fall and my friends and I have some Fall traditions that I look forward to each year. Each year we host what we call "Fall Fest" at my house which consists of us going apple/pumpkin picking, shopping at a local market for fall goodies, watching scary movies, playing board games, and of course a little fun and dancing!
Since we just moved in last September I only had a few Fall decor items, this year I grabbed some more and I just love the flair they add to my house! This is a picture heavy post, but I hope you enjoy it! Keep reading to find out how I made my house Fall ready!
The Porch!
Your porch is the first thing people see when they pull up to your house. Adding some flowers and cute signs will instantly give your home some curb appeal! There are so many ways to jazz up a front porch but some of my favorite ways includes large lanterns and seasonal plants. For Fall I love getting colorful mums and pumpkins. I personally like shopping at Lowes for my mums as I feel they always have a great selection. This year I opted for one pumpkin for now, but have fun with it and grab a bunch in different colors and sizes!
Lanterns (not the same but a good option) // Fairy Lights
I found my lanterns at home goods knowing I wanted big ones but I didn't want to pay pottery barn prices! The larger one was around 50$ and the smaller only 30$! You can put a candle in them but I opted for fairy lights as it gives such a nice look at night.
My Fall sign is from Kirklands. If you haven't shopped there, I highly recommend them! They have so many cute items especially seasonal ones. Their Christmas decor is amazing too! I also got my door mat from there as well and it was on sale from 12.99 to 9.99, such a steal! A cute door mat is the perfect way to add some color to your porch and welcome your guests.
Wreath (similar)
My wreath has to be my favorite Fall decor piece. I actually picked this up last year at Homegoods, but they still sell this one this year! It is the perfect size and looks gorgeous hanging on my front door. I suggest browsing in your local home goods to find it as they don't have it online :(
The Inside!
Similar to the outside, basically all of of my inside decor is from Homegoods (yes, I am obsessed). Their prices are just amazing and they have the best variety. I honestly don't think I could live without a Homegoods near by! Unfortunately I wasn't able to link everything as the online selection is limited but I did try to link what I could and some similar options!
Basically my theme inside was just a whole-lotta pumpkins. Nothing screams fall to me more then pumpkins and leaves! I didn't go too crazy in my house but just added a little bit of Fall in each room. I sort of have this rustic decor anyway so Fall things look really nice with my general decor.
Next year I plan on going bigger and adding to my Fall collection! Let me know if you all want to see more posts like this, I love sharing my home decor!
