Spring is here! Kind of..

It is finally Spring! Although, the weather in Jersey hasn't gotten the memo yet.. Here is a transitional outfit to get in the Spring spirit!

What I love most about vests are that they can be used not only in the Winter, but also Fall and early Spring. They really add something to a plain outfit! I have also been wearing these Lucky Brand boots all winter long and I must say they are super comfortable. They are also great quality, I wear them almost every day to work and they have held up all winter without looking extremely worn in. As much as I love my booties I am so ready for sandals!

Fuzzy Cardigan

This winter I have been completely obsessed with fuzzy sweaters and cardigans! I think I have purchased between 4-5 this winter in varying colors. This cardigan is super soft and cozy but also looks super cute!

Sweater // Boots // Tory Burch Purse (Similar)

The best part about this sweater is the cost. Right now it is on sale for 30% off and under 20$, which is a steal! My exact boots are also on sale at Goodnight Macaroon with the code DARLING25. These boots are not only comfortable but also great quality. I have pretty small legs but these OTK boots fit well around the thigh. Even though winter is still lurking around at least I will get some more wear out of my cozy sweaters and tall boots!

Spring Ready Purchases

With Spring coming up I have been doing a little shopping to prepare myself for the warmer weather (maybe a little too much shopping, although is there such a thing!?) These are a few of the pieces I picked up recently that I know I will get a lot of use out of.
Recent Buys

Leith Black Body-con Dress: This dress is a staple for Spring and Summer. It is super flattering and easy to pair with accessories or cardigans. This dress comes in a variety of colors if black isn't your thing. I purchased the black in XS and it fits perfectly ( I am 5'1 and under 100 pounds to give you an idea). Pair it with sandals for a casual look or some cute strappy heels to dress it up (like these here).

Posie Strappy Camisole: I love this top! I have worn this a few times already. It is a great transitional piece because you can wear it with a little jacket and jeans. I went out last weekend and paired it with a leather jacket and heels. This top comes in a variety of colors ( I love the blush color but they are out of my size :( ). You can see my blog post about this top here . I bought this top in an x-small, the only downside is since I am small and it has a low cut neck I did need to wear a sticky bra with it. They have great ones at target ( and cheap) for anyone looking for a good one!

BP Gathered Waist Midi Dress: Much like the black dress, this one is super flattering and comfortable. This one is a bit longer so I would feel more comfortable wearing this to work with a cardigan. Again, you can dress this one up or down as well. See my blog post with this dress here. I purchased this dress in an XXS.

Topshop Slouchy Knot Front Blouse: This top immediately caught my eye in Nordstrom! It is so classy and elegant, besides I love blush for spring. They also make this in a dress version that I have my eye on too. You can find that here (It doesn't come in blush though). This top has a cool back that you may also want a sticky bra for if you don't want to put a cami underneath it. I have this in an XS.

Leith Paperbag Shorts: These shorts are so adorable! They are much cuter in person then in the picture and pair well with a tight t-shirt or cami. When I got them home I tried them on with a white t-shirt I already had and it sort of looked like a cute dress or romper. I bought these in an XS and I cannot wait until the weather is warmer so I can wear them! It is important to note that these are a little on the short side.

Tory Burch Crossbody: The purse linked is extremely similar to the one I bought, mine is different inside (it doesn't have a zipper). I actually found this bag at Nordstrom Rack for a steal! I love going into stores like Nordstrom Rack, Marshals, and TJ Maxx. I always find the best designer stuff for less. I am obsessed with this bag! I love that it can be used for a fancier occasion but also dressed down with a more casual outfit. It fits everything I need (phone, small card holder for my debit card, ect, and chapstick).

I hope you all enjoyed this post, let me know if you would like to see more of these in the future! Are there any spring finds you're loving right now? Drop them in the comments!
