Cowl Neck Sweater and OTK Boots

I posted this sweater the other day with that adorable pink Free People skirt, but I wanted to show how it can be worn with jeans for a totally different look!

I love when you can use a piece of clothing in a variety of ways. This top is one of those items that would look good with so many things. I paired it with jeans and these amazing OTK boots for a fun Fall look.
I purchased these boots last year from Goodnight Macaroon and I could't be more pleased with the quality. If you have pined over those OTK Stuart Weitzman boots but hated the price tag, then these are for you! They fit so well and stay up without constantly adjusting them. The quality is fantastic and they are under 150$! Goodnight Macaroon has sales all the time so check back before buying. I ended up getting them 40% off so the boots ended up being around 100$. They really are worth every penny!  OTK boots aren't for everyone but I find that they make me look like I have really long legs (which a 5'1 shorty like me appreciates!). What do you think of this Fall look?

Preppy Plaid

Plaid is the epitome of Fall, nothing screams falling leaves and crisp air quite like it! Plaid is universally flattering as it comes in so many colors and varieties. Today I have styled my plaid with a cardigan for a preppy Fall look.

I picked this plaid up during the N Sale a few months back and couldn't wait to wear it! It is so soft and comfy for the cooler months ahead. I am wearing an XXS and I find that it runs large so I recommend sizing down (my cardigan is also an XXS and runs large).  There are just so many ways to style a plaid but this one is the perfect layered look for work or play. This top looks great on its own and would look great untied with a pair of leggings and sneakers for a casual look.

What do you think about plaid? Do you have a favorite color combo?

How I Made My Home Fall Ready

It is finally here! My favorite season for activities and decor! There is just so much to do in the Fall and my friends and I have some Fall traditions that I look forward to each year. Each year we host what we call "Fall Fest" at my house which consists of us going apple/pumpkin picking, shopping at a local market for fall goodies, watching scary movies, playing board games, and of course a little fun and dancing!

Since we just moved in last September I only had a few Fall decor items, this year I grabbed some more and I just love the flair they add to my house! This is a picture heavy post, but I hope you enjoy it! Keep reading to find out how I made my house Fall ready!

The Porch!

Your porch is the first thing people see when they pull up to your house. Adding some flowers and cute signs will instantly give your home some curb appeal! There are so many ways to jazz up a front porch but some of my favorite ways includes large lanterns and seasonal plants. For Fall I love getting colorful mums and pumpkins. I personally like shopping at Lowes for my mums as I feel they always have a great selection. This year I opted for one pumpkin for now, but have fun with it and grab a bunch in different colors and sizes!

Homegoods
Lanterns (not the same but a good option) // Fairy Lights

Fall Decor

I found my lanterns at home goods knowing I wanted big ones but I didn't want to pay pottery barn prices! The larger one was around 50$ and the smaller only 30$! You can put a candle in them but I opted for fairy lights as it gives such a nice look at night.

Fall Decor

My Fall sign is from Kirklands. If you haven't shopped there, I highly recommend them! They have so many cute items especially seasonal ones. Their Christmas decor is amazing too! I also got my door mat from there as well and it was on sale from 12.99 to 9.99, such a steal! A cute door mat is the perfect way to add some color to your porch and welcome your guests.

Homegoods
Wreath (similar)

Fall Decor

My wreath has to be my favorite Fall decor piece. I actually picked this up last year at Homegoods, but they still sell this one this year! It is the perfect size and looks gorgeous hanging on my front door. I suggest browsing in your local home goods to find it as they don't have it online :(

The Inside!

Similar to the outside, basically all of of my inside decor is from Homegoods (yes, I am obsessed). Their prices are just amazing and they have the best variety. I honestly don't think I could live without a Homegoods near by! Unfortunately I wasn't able to link everything as the online selection is limited but I did try to link what I could and some similar options!

Fall Decor

Basically my theme inside was just a whole-lotta pumpkins. Nothing screams fall to me more then pumpkins and leaves! I didn't go too crazy in my house but just added a little bit of Fall in each room.   I sort of have this rustic decor anyway so Fall things look really nice with my general decor.

Next year I plan on going bigger and adding to my Fall collection! Let me know if you all want to see more posts like this, I love sharing my home decor!

Sweater Weather

Sweater weather is among us and I can't stop buying them! This combination is perfect for a warmer Fall day. I am not sure what I love about this look the most, the neutral tones or the cowl neck sweater. This outfit will definitely be on repeat!

Top // Skirt (and here) // Booties // Watch // x ring

While shopping at my favorite local store, I found this Jack by BB Dakota sweater and this pink Free People skirt. I knew instantly that these would pair so well and I had to leave with them. Free People is my weakness and this skirt is no exception (I am wearing a 0 for reference). This look is perfect for work or play. You could always switch the booties out for a pair of nude heels for a dressier look. My booties are on sale right now and honesty I am debating buying the chestnut pair as well (I own both this color and black already!). These are the perfect bootie because they look so chic and go with everything!
Anyone else all for sweaters and skirts together?!

Sequins and Sass Boutique: The Cutest Finds

Hi Friends! I wanted to talk to you all today about this amazing online boutique called Sequins and Sass. When I got the opportunity to collaborate with Jessica (the owner of Sequins and Sass) I was so excited! She has the cutest pieces, and not to mention she is a total sweetheart! The top I received is the perfect Fall staple and it belongs in your closet!

Top // Bralette // Necklace // Leggings // Booties // Bag // Watch

The Top
I am obsessed with this top! Between the little buttons and peplum bottom, it is a no brainer! The top is incredibly soft and comfortable, perfect for a cooler Fall day. I paired it with leggings and booties for a comfy but chic look. The top is suppose to have an oversized fit so if you like things tighter I would recommend sizing  down.

The Boutique
Sequins and Sass offers a variety of unique pieces with a little something for everyone. I love how everything is super fashionable but also affordable. She also carries fun accessories to jazz up any look. Funny enough, Jessica is based out of New Jersey like me! I think you all will love the pieces she carries as much as I do. You can find Sequins and Sass on instagram @sequinsandsassbtq or Facebook here as well as her website https://sequinsandsass.com

What do you think of this fun Fall combo?!

Neutral Hues for Fall

Happy Weekend Friends! As much as I am sad Summer is pretty much over, I am really excited to wear my Fall clothes and shoes! This outfit has become my new favorite and I know I will be wearing it on repeat this season!

Hat // Earrings // Sweater // Belt // Jeans // Booties

I purchased this sweater during the NSale and am so glad to finally wear it! I love how it can be dressy or casual as well as perfect for work or play! It comes in a ton of colors if neutrals aren't for you! I paired this top with my favorite booties and hat for a Fall look. I eyed these boots all last season and I am so glad I finally picked them up. They are so chic and look good with everything! My only regret is not buying them in the chestnut too (I own the black pair as well).

Hats like this are so perfect for Fall and really make an outfit look so complete and put together.  Get ready because you will see this one a lot! I am wearing an XS in the hat for reference. Anyone else as excited for Fall as I am? I know in a few weeks I will be complaining it is cold but for now I will embrace the season! Hope you all have a great weekend! xo

The Most Adorable Plaid Skirt

This outfit totally gives me Britney Spears, early 2000's vibes but I am digging it. When I saw this adorable ruffled plaid skirt at Abercrombie I knew it would become one of my Fall staples.

This has to be my new favorite outfit for Fall. It is casual yet chic and would be perfect for weekend parties or brunches. Abercrombie has become one of my favorite places to shop recently. They always have sales and they have so many fashionable items. I use to shop there in high school so when I saw that they now have things for us over 25 gals, I was in. This thermal is under 30$ and will be perfect for winter as well. I styled it here with my favorite Free People bralette, however any bralette of any color would look cute underneath! My skirt would also look cute with a chunky sweater and tall boots. These booties are actually on sale from 150$ to 90$. I have them in both the tan and the black seen here and I am obsessed! I just love the versatility of this look, how about you?
